I went and saw the neurologist again (finally. stupid scheduling mixups did away with my earlier meeting)

Results: upping my medicationfor my concussion symptoms, and tagging the insurance so they can schedule me for an EEG. that's where they put all the electrodes on your head and measure your brain waves and stuff. When they do it, I am not allowed to sleep the night before. fun.
doc is checking to make sure i'm not having minor seizures. Yay.

also, i am under orders to keep a diary of my disturbances. Hah. we will have an official record of my weirdness!!
i'm buying a tape recorder for class, so when my brain takes its mini vacations during lectures, i can rewind later and figure out what i missed.

Only, I'm not allowed to verify my schedule yet, because the school library says i stole a book and owe them $60. bastards. Now I have to scrounge extra money for them. Otherwise I get dropped from my classes for failure to verify. merp.

    Funy stuff:
Saturday I helped my friend Peter pack up his apartment. He's moving to Tennessee to be with his girlfriend. So we packed him away into the U-Haul, and stayed up late talking with him.

Then home, to hang out with a very good friend, who slept on my couch that night, waiting for the apartments on campus to open.

Damn, gotta go, I'll finish this later tonight, cause its really damn funny.

    ah.
but they did say no caffeine. (pause) as if I drunk coffee all the time anyway! ppphhhbbbtttt.

    UPDATE CONT.:

ok, so my friend Debbie was sleeping on my couch. nominally anyway. While I Was gone, she, her mom, and another couple friends of ours watched LOTR extended at my place, and had just finished when I got back. so she wasn't sleeping yet. we hung out for a while before I went upstairs to my room to let her sleep.

Lo and behold, I didn't GET to my room. See, this door has a lock on it, has since long before I moved in, but it didn't work. i mean, you couldn't even turn the little thingy to lock it. I had tried many times, and it was impossible.

So I go up the stairs, down the hall, grab the knoc and try to turn it, but nothing happens. I tried a couple times. Just in case I'd fallen asleep on my feet and dreamed it. Nothing.

Think. Go downstairs, and ask not yet sleeping friend if she can pick locks. No, but we give it a try anyway, and keep trying. Think.

INTERNET!!!!!!!! You can find ANYTHING on the internet, right>??? and we DO find instructions, but we quickly realise it would take more than a night to learn it all. Think think think.

Who would know how to pick locks>? why, our scruffy friend Matt of course!!! He knows the weirdest shit.

It is 2:30 in the morning. We head over to campus, knock on his door, and he very very sleepily answers. Smile, beg, plead, smile.
Demands made, refused, more demands made, refused. a more amusing suggestion offered, agreed to, we now have a system of exchange. Into the car and back to my place we all go.

He has the fucking thing opened in less than 30 seconds. Humorous but irritating too. bastard dares to be better than the amazing tyle!!! just kidding. HE climbs in the car, I take him back home, he goes to sleep. When I say climbs into the car, I'm not exagerating that much. It is now about 3:30 in the morning.
Most of that time was spent in the bartering, moving back and forth, and finding something which he could use to open the door. That and bantering.

So I come back home, and Debbie and I, intending to go to a very early morning Mass so we can spend the day moving and sleeping, clean and reorganize my room.

She goes to sleep, wimping out on me, but she's been traveling all day, so she has an excuse. I go to church. of course they aren't HAVING the service at the normal hour that day, because its Sunday, and they do things later on Sundays. So I do morning prayer at the church, because the monks are cool and it sounds awesome. I sit around and talk with someone for a while, then go home.

My door is locked. I KNOW I unlocked the damn thing before I left. It is locked again. I HATE THIS DOOR almost as much as it seems to hate me.
Debbie and I spend a lot of time trying to open it. Not happening.

So we eat, go to school and unpack her stuff into her now open apartment, unpack all her roomates things from their cars as well, run errands, eat several times, yadda yadda yadda. Somewhere in there a number of people try their hands at opening the door, without any luck. So we are determined to wait for MAtt to come back from his hiking trip.

Eventually a number of us end up at my place watching Benny and June. If you haven't seen it, watch it. now. NOW. I leave a note for MAtt begging for his help, and off we go.

He eventually shows up, but this time the door is jammed completely, and he can't get it open. So I spend the night on Debbie's couch. Once I finally get to sleep. Not very early.

Now, I didn't get much sleep Friday night. Not that I can remember why, I seem to have no memory of Friday night other than starting a movie with my roomate, but no matter. That's probably because my brain is messed up and I didn't sleep for two days.

Sunday night I borrow a complete change of clothes from my roomate, take a shower at Dewbbie's, and go to sleep. I spend all day doing school stuff, getting ready for my classes, and pray that the apartment complex will answer my desperate plea for help, and they do. But I find it damn humorous that I managed to lock myself out of a room, TWICE within 4 hours, with a door that has a broken lock.

I am very very glad now to have access to clean underwear, my own bed, my books... And Debbie is VERY happy to recover her glasses from my bedroom.

In other news, her apartment has been named The Apocalypse, and she and her roomates have been each named for the four horsemen. I, the declared unofficial fifth roomate need no nickname, for I am weird enough that the old ones suffice. The apartment across the way is named for the circle of hell in Dante's Inferno that holds the heretics. The top floor is working on a name as well, since the whole floor is taken up by our circle of friends. I have NO idea how we managed that, but Matt manages very odd things. LAst year, for instance, he got the school to pay for a dinner for his dorm almost every week. And once, when they were too tired to shop and cook, they used the money to go to a restaraunt. They did this to make him shut up. He has a bad habit of drawing attention to their inadequacies, but does it politely. Hence the food.

We're gonna try it again this semester. SEe how many countries of the world we can cover with our cooking skills. MUWAHAHAHAHAHAHAHHAH. heh.

    anyway, THE END.
*crawls into bed to catch up on more much needed sleep*

At least in college you learn that with beer, nothing is that bad. And everything makes for a good story in the morning.

    Cheers, tyle.
